Structural Appraisals
We have a wealth of experience in undertaking structural appraisals and surveys of a whole range of structures. It is now common place for Local Authority Development Control to request appraisals of buildings that are proposed for conversion. We have an established relationship with many Planning and Conservation Officers which enables us to swiftly meet their requirements at planning stage.
Appraisals of existing structures are also undertaken following damage, such as vehicle impact or fire or following general deterioration. Under such circumstances, our services would extend to providing a repair schedule as required and if necessary, supervision of works on site.
Our experience in this field extends from barn surveys to accompany planning applications to more sensitive schemes such as formulation of a repair schedule to a listed city centre period building.
